New guy stationed in Montana
Hey all! I have been reading so many post on this site, gathering knowledge. I just bought a 1972 F250 custom 2wd 360. I love the look of it, even thought the guy before me painted it some hideous white color, and butchered the electronics. I have so far replaced the Starter, Distributor points, fuel pump, thermostat, heater core, valve cover gaskets,rebuilt the carb, and bought a new brake booster and master cylinder along with new spark plugs and wires. Those projects along with dropping the gas tank and cleaning it out after old bad gas, and hooking the main gas tank back up after he had disconnected it, are my future mechanical goals. I am also looking to put a cd player in it and a few speakers, simply because there is no music at all right now, and while it sounds beautiful, it is loud. I am hoping to talk to a bunch of you guys and get help the entire way.
