Hey all. I picked up this '70 250 Sport Custom Camper Special back in March and just started to go through her. Got her from the daughter of the original owner and she said her dad loved this truck. From the looks of her he did, although she became a daily driver and shows some wear now.
Started reading the topics in the forum here and learned a lot about her so thank you for that.
Replaced the mechanical fuel pump and the water pump out news belts n hoses flushed the radiator put gas in her and she fired right up. She has the automatic which seems a little worn out when she first gets going but after that she shifts like butter.
Going keep working on her and making small improvements here and there and will on this site regurally for guidance.
