New member from Southeast Michigan

Post by sumtruck »

Hi Guys (and Gals)! Just joined up today, long overdue. I bought a 1967 Ford F-100 S.B. that needs a lot of work. My wife and son bought it for me for my 60th birthday. Always wanted a bump side, but this one is quite a challenge. I'm getting into things I've never done before, and it's a little scary. I sometimes think am I ever going to get this truck rolling again! Biggest problem was rotted cab mounts, middle cab mount supports, bad rag joint. Had to literally take this truck apart, get the cab on it's back, and get to work. I may ask some questions from time to time, and with your knowledge and experience, I'll get this thing back together. Take Care, Jeff

Hello from above the bridge !!!!
The cab on my '72 is far gone i am not attempting to save it. Got a donor.

Have fun with your ride. Try, fail, try again. These old Fords are tough. They can handle a beginner.
