I've been posting a bit recently and reading for much longer so thought I should say thanks for the site, thanks to the staff, and a quick hi.
my pride, she's been with me for 20 years. 1972 bumpside short wheel base f100, was sold to me with the text as "Canadian special " what ever that means.
It's a mild 302c, 650vs, c4 with pro ratchet, 3.7 Eaton truetrac, one coil cut from the front spring to drop it almost an inch, and a flat tray. The wheels are 31" 10.5 r15 sunraysia mags sprayed engine black. Larger offset in the back no idea what though
I learnt how to paint on this truck, when i got it i was young and dumb and the guy selling it had painted it but it didn't last very long.
I've also learnt a lot about tinkering with Clevelands. No one in my family or friends even knows what a v8 is (they think it's a drink) so it's been a slow process with lots of reading and sometimes learning the expensive way on what not to do.
I hope to find a tub for it as it's simpler, but they are very expensive here. And I'll remove the bull bar/roo bar as I'm no longer based in the outback and kangaroos army a problem in the city.
I also learnt when I was young and my friends were moving a lot that apparently just cause I have a truck I want to spend my weekend to help people move. It was ok as they'd pay for pizza (!?!?!!).
It was running dual fuel (LPG and petrol) but I recently removed that with the idea of injection and hopefully a charger. I'm also not worried about fuel economy with the truck as it's mostly just got for fun.
I'm also half way through a new 351c sightly wild build but that will take a back door for a while due to recent unscheduled diff downgrade (long story). And recently my transmission also started acting up so I'll probably need to look at that next.
Right sorry for the long post, hope all is good.
Cheers
Choco

Very nice truck - but then I'm about to build a flat bed, so I'm kinda biased. And my Dad had a couple of Aussie 302 Clevelands back in the UK, and they never fail to impress.
I'd keep that roo bar if it were mine - maybe cut off the lower tubing and throw a bunch of lights and a winch on it. That thing is awesome

Nice truck. Welcome aboard from Northern Calif.
May your sails stay full, and your knots not slip. Unless a slip knot.

Thanks, the bumper bar was needed as I lived out in the bush and there are lots of kangaroos at dawn and dusk.
