1972 F100 window weather seal

I replaced the weatherstripping with a kit from LMC on the passenger side without issue EXCEPT for the weather seal felts that attach to the bottom of the window frame.
The rear clip at the top of the bend would not seat. I've had to remove the whole thing and now the clips are broken and attaching new ones will not hold in the seal.
Any ideas on getting the last clip to seat?
I guess I'll have to JB Weld the new clips in place to get them to hold.

I'm frustrated and it's going to rain on Tuesday.
