Good morning everyone,

I've been lurking here for quite a while and finally decided to register.

I bought my first bumpside in 1986. It was a '72 sport custom high boy. It was a real piece of s---. Paid $800 for it. Over the next several years I restored it to like new condition. Sequoia brown with a white top. I left it parked outside my shop one night in 1993. It was stolen. My heart is broken to this day.

Recently I was given a 71 high boy that the owner just didn't want around anymore. No bed, body is trash, but a perfect rolling chassis. This week I bought a 70 ranger xlt camper special. Paid $3000 for it. The body is perfect. The bed is perfect. It had a camper in it since new. Not even a scratch on the bed floor.

I guess you can figure out where I'm going with this. A clone of my old 72 truck!! I'll post pictures.
