20 year 4.9 3on tree owner

Post by lestrange04 »

First time I ever needed to register for a vehicle. I love my inline 6 (240). 883,672 miles on her and she doesn't miss a beat. Newer 4.9 rebuild in progress. Every time I had an issue I came here and found an answer. I'll post in the correct forum, but I'm at a loss.

Broke down the tranny this morning. Clutch fork rivets were the culprit. Can I knock the rivets out of the tranny case or drill them? Its still under the truck and firewall is prohibiting removal. First time I've ever had to remove it. Either way, glad it isn't a new clutch kit.
