Plasti-Dip

Post by travis6370 »

I decided it would be a good idea to Plasti-Dip my entire truck, big mistake. I've gotten most of it off now and plan on sanding off the crappy layer of black paint the PO sprayed over the original light olive green. Once I get it down, what is a good way to preserve the patina look so it will last and not rust ?

What was the issues with the plastic-dip, i have been looking at doing my truck this summer with it. How did you apply it? All of the stuff i have been looking at it seems like it a pretty option for painting a truck.

Thanks
