Windshield installation

When installing weatherstripping and new windshield, Is it installed dry or do you use some sort of sealant/glue, I think I read one post that said to use soapy water to make the installation easier. Thanks for your comments.

I installed mine myself. Only used soapy water, 1/8 inch rope. Keep spray bottle with soapy water on hand during installation . Of course i did a lot of homework on the installation before i got started. The most important thing is just take your time.
