New in Michigan!
Rust belt present and accounted for!! Found a truck that seems to have done pretty well surviving the salt box that is Michigan. (Although in fairness, I was told it was originally a southern truck. Then again, I was told a lot of things. Lol...it's even fabled to be a 390 under the hood. I'm calling it a 360 until I find evidence.)
ANYHOW, I've been lurking here, finding tons of info on my latest ride, and at the age of 45, my first REAL truck!! (The only thing even close was a '73 Ranchero GT I had about a decade ago.)
Want to thank you ALL for what I've already learned by searching, and by all the learning yet to come.
Seems like THIS is where I belong.

Re: New in Michigan!
Any other peoples from Michigan on here?
I know the salt has eaten a lot of these trucks up here, but some of the southern trucks do make it up here into good hands (and garages for 6 months of the year. Lol)

I live in Michigan....Further North...North of the bridge... Up on the North Shore of Lake Superior in Marquette county.
There are not many Bumpsides up here. Not many at all. The iron moths never sleep.

Re: New in Michigan!
Totally new one for me... "iron moths."
I LOVE the U.P., used to go to the big car show in St. Ignace every year, but I've missed the past couple of years. Proposed the the missus in the U.P.. And there's NOTHING on earth like the shores of Superior. Kinda jealous I don't live up there. I'm just a tourist til I retire or hit the lotto.
Anyhow, I don't see many bumps around here either, (other than mine, haven't seen one in months, and winter is approaching), even dents look to be going extinct.
