Clutch Pedal Repair
Well, Here's a new one for me. I noticed that the clutch kept coming out of adjustment over a period of every 3 weeks. I checked all my linkages and reset the clutch adjuster. Finally, one day I'm trying to get back home and step on the clutch only to have it break off of it's shaft and land on the floor. I was able to disassemble the rest of the clutch shaft and had my wife pick up. I ended up rewelding the shaft back where it belongs and reheatreating the weld. I returned next morning, reassembled my truck and then drove it home. I'm currently trying to recreate the shaft out of a grade 8 socket head bolt. If any one has ever experience this problem before I'd like to know. I'd also welcome any advise or criticism as long as it's helpful.

Re: Clutch Pedal Repair
Welcome from Michigan.
I've seen a couple of clutch linkage failures.
Once repaired they'll last the life of the truck.
