1st Project - 69 F100

Hi all,

Been lurking for some time trying to absorb and apply the great knowledge shared on this site.

Purchased a barely running 69 F-100 with a 351w in April 2013. It had a hard life on the farm before I picked it up. Had not been registered since 2000. Pretty much every system was neglected.

I banged on it solo for 2 years without much progress but finally had the resources to get professional help to rebuild the heads, replace the exhaust and clutch this past Spring. Now its my daily driver and I love it!

Body/paint is rough on the outside but that will be the next adventure that I will attempt myself.

I still consider myself a newbie when it comes to wrenching but the amount I have learned in the last two years has grown quickly the more that I do.

Currently working on a stereo install project (used Alpine head unit, 2 4" Rockford Fosgate speakers and a 150W amp).
