Fresh off the boat meself! Haven't quite figured out how the site works yet, part of the greater mystery and enjoying the reads.

I'm looking for a68' white "trim less" tailgate as mine got chucked (no offense to Charles); been searching Craigslist & eBay but little luck. I see you can find at least (3), so what better way to get my feet wet & jump all in!

As a point of clarity, when I mention "trim Less" I'm seeing some of the tailgates with the aluminum plate across the back with Ford lettering, not what I want but I've heard that comes off? Not a gear head but trying to gain more knowledge so one of the reasons I'm on this cool site.

Any help appreciated.

Cheers from NorCal

Thanks all . Had some tragedy in my life after initial post and just returning . I have no idea how to post a picture here but if I figure it out or receive instruction I would be happy to post pix of my money sponges. Of which I have sold 1 and added a couple more for unexplained reasons . And to the guy in Nor- Cal mentioning a tailgate without panel , I am sure I have a few straight ones but not sure on color . But odd as it may sound I am sure any I have will allow paint to adhere irregardless of pigment or political leanings . :)
