New guy
Hey guy's,
New to the site, But here for a specific reason.
1969 F100. 240. 3 speed. 2X4.
My grandpa bought this truck new, and it was given to me. It is in pretty good shape. Wood is rotted out of the bed but for 46 years old its not too bad.
I plan on completely restoring it to factory condition, with the exception of the motor. I plan on doing a Cummins conversion on her. I am looking for information on upgrading the 3 speed and or replacing it but keeping the column shifter.
I have searched, and asked but I am getting no where.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, Thanks in advance.

From Phoenix AZ,
Darric,
You might head over to Engine and Drivetrain. Not everybody checks out the welcome mat. sounds like you got a job ahead of you.

Hey Guy!
Nice to meet you! Good luck on that conversion.
But if you're going through the trouble of making it factory why the big change over?
You got a great grandpa and the 67-72 in "OEM" shape will be worth more in the end.
Not many around and you are a 2nd owner?! Just wondering...
Welcome to the site and I'm sure someone will be forthcoming with info for you!
This is a great place to start!
