i found this 68 5 lug truck in wrecking yard ,it has a strange p steering setup in it , about a foot down the column is where the power steering box is and all the steering arms are behind crossmember to motor the wrecking yard owner sats its a real rare system he has only seen 3 times before .the

I had a 1969 F100 4X4. This truck too had power steering, and the power steering gearbox mounted parallel to the frame, on top, and the steering linkage ran parallel to the frames. I bought this at an auction so I have no idea if this was factory, aftermarket, ghetto or what.

So I too would be interested if you came across anymore information on them. :hmm:
