where to find paint this paint.

Post by bigdfsm »

Looking at my paint code H it says Cordova med copper according to the paint chips on the site. I would lime to repaint the truck as closely as possible to the original color. Who would have this color and where can I get it. Also how much would it take to do an entire 8ft style side truck. Thanks

You'll need 2 gallons of paint to paint everything.

paintref.com can give you the paint code to have any automotive paint store mix your paint.

If you go to a local mom and pop automotive store you may be able to get it for much cheaper. Yes, a gallon of automotive paint could very easily cost roughly $500 to someone without an automotive distributor type license. I personally found a local mom and pop tire shop and asked them if I could get some paint through them. My price was going to be roughly $460 for a gallon of automotive paint, there price was $130. They were cool with it and I gave them $20 just for letting me use there name. (It may not be the most ethical way of going about this, but I don't think charging the average person $500 for a gallon of automotive paint, but charge a large shop $150 is ethical either.)

Either way, good luck with your project.
