Howdy - best info anywhere

Post by highcountrynm »

Been using the FORDification.com site to research for my nephew's '72 F250 4x4, 4-sp manual, 360 (likely) motor. The truck is parked at my house, so I guess that makes is as much mine as his! He's in college, so I get to tinker with it until he really wants to take it. We affectionately call the truck The General due to its olive drab paint and single white star on the side, but the previous owner gets credit for the name. Interestingly, if you Google image search for 1972 Ford Highboy, some pics from the eBay posting that the previous owner bought it from will come up. Mechanically pretty good, exterior and interior are pretty rough (despite what the pics indicate). Anyway, I figured this site has given me so much great info that if I come across anything interesting, I wanted to be able to post it. Thanks to everyone who posts on this site, it is an amazing resource.
