I currently have most of the engine work done, and it should be sitting in the truck by the weekend. I had pulled the oil pan a few days ago, and it was clean as a whistle inside. Amazingly most of the original paint was left on the engine because of the grease build up. Since I'm not making a show truck I am going to leave the original paint on the oil pan, but I will repaint the rocker covers and the air cleaner to freshen it up a bit. It has been 3 years since I last heard it run, and I can't wait to hear her run again. The front suspension is also in one piece again, and the truck is finally sitting on all 4 wheels again. I'll get some pictures posted soon!

After three years the engine is finally back where it belongs. I'll need to buy another starter since the one I have is shot. We have been trying to fire it up for the past few days. Something must be wrong with the wiring since the dash lights do not turn on, and turning the key won't turn the engine over. We did bypass it by jumping the solenoid with a screw driver like usual, and then found out that the bendix in the starter is messed up. We'll eventually get all of the problems sorted out.
My dad also finished up the driver's side door a few weeks ago

That's all for now.

Re: 1968 F250 Project
Hey guys! I was finally able to drive the truck!!!
I'm so stoked! We put the rusty front clip back on for now so it could be driven around, and it runs beautifully other than the fact that the carburetor needs to be rebuilt, and I already have the kit for it. It just felt so good to hop in and turn the key and listen to it fire up. I can't wait until I get my driver's license! Here are a few pictures of her...

As of now it sits with a little rake, but once the box is back on it should go back to normal. Not sure what to do front clip wise. I might end up going the dentside radiator support switch swap mine is even rusted up near the headlights. The passenger side inner fender is easily repairable, but the driver's side is completely gone, and the hood hinge is ready to fall off. I did pick up an inner fender for that side, so at least that is figured out. I'll probably end up buying new fenders for it. I'm just so excited that it is running and driving!
