Hey Y'all!
I have a 67, 68 and 69 all three long beds and three on the tree. The only one running right now is the '69. His name is Mr Blue and is running the original 240 straight six. He is currently getting a new distributor and a full tune up. I will probably put a petronix in it. I have run petronix in my old VWs for the last 16 years and love them! NO points to bother with! A few months ago my sons and I completely rebuilt the brakes from new master cyl to lines and all! Funny thing I kept getting wrong parts during the brake job. I realized at one point that the FRONT shoes the store gave me were the same as my REAR! After some research I found that there was available a heavy duty brake system. My bottom of the line basic f100 has three inch wide front shoes and on the rear the shoes that would normally be on the front. My 68 is a Custom Cab and came with a 360 V8 from the factory, ! it has a 302 not running right now. My wife calls it hers! It has a nearly perfect body! Hope to have it on the road soon! My 67 is a base model also with it's original 240, but I will probably sell it. I had it before the 68 came along. I really don't need all three...but it's kinda cool having all three
