LOCKABLE IN-CAB STORAGE UNIT

I WOULD LIKE TO FIND A GOOD USED BEHIND THE BENCH SEAT STORAGE UNIT. THESE UNITS WERE OPTIONAL-SEEN THEM ON THE LITERATURE SECTION-CAME ON THE TRUCKS THAT DID NOT HAVE THE IN CAB GAS TANK. THE DENTSIDES HAD THEM TOO, NOT SURE IF THEY WERE THE SAME THOUGH???

You know, if a guy were good at fabrication, some good money could be made building NOS gas tank replacement storage units.

I am looking also, but they are truly the 'Holy Grail'.. just saw one on ebay, offered $100, and it was gone in minutes. Owner was parting out a 72 in Colorado, and sent me a reply... I may do just what Tim suggested, and find a local tin bender, and have one made. The ones I have seen (only in photos), looked to have a divided small item tray on the top. Nice idea for small loose stuff.

If anyone has one, and will post some photos, that would be a big help for any of us that want to make one.

haha I had one of these. Purchased it for $50 bucks

Sold it for $200.00, not really that rare I see them at swap meets here and there. And I think you can buy them aftermarket, can't remember where I seen this. I didn't like it all that much
