I an the new owner of a 1967 F100 SWB truck. I love this thing and I am ready to do everything all at once. Okay, maybe not everything , but I have not been this excited about working on a car in 20 years. I found this truck in need of lots of work. Brakes were out, rust in the floors, rust in the bed, bad seals in the front and back glass and I'm not ready to even think about all the wiring problems. I have fixed the brakes and after finding out I had transmission cooler line issues, I am working on that now.
My hope I is to have it in safe driving condition in 6 months. It has not been registered or inspected in 15 years. I feel like if I can not get is truck back on the road, then it is going to end up in the junk yard. My Dad had a 67 long bed when I was 6 years old. I did not even know the year until I had already bought my project. I think my 70 year old Dad is as excited about it as I am. It came with a V8 302? And a C-4. No power brakes or steering. I also bought a 67 SWB parts truck. It has no motor or transmission. This forum is great and I am looking forward to posting pics along the way.
