1969 camper spcl

Post by scottscv »

Hello all, I have inherited my fathers 1969 f250 camper special. It currently has 45,xxx original miles. He and my step mother bought the truck in the late 80s to use as our rv. we had many good times in the truck, when they split she kept the truck. He passed of cancer last year and I was talking to her and asked what she did with the truck. Well as luck had it it broke down 10 years ago :) she told me if I wanted it to come and get it! I wasted no time in having it towed to a place where I could work on it. I scraped the camper installed a carb and some new tires and off I drove. Runs great but I want to do some upgrades. Im thinking ignition, exhaust, and anything else I can do to make this thing reliable and fun to drive! I will post some pictures tomorrow. :fr:
