Hi all, I started searching about 6 months ago for a swb 67-72 f100 that I could build as a hobby/shop truck/rat rod project. Took a while but I found it at copart in Arizona. Bid and won at $1050. It was written in paint in the window "no start, no turn over". It has a transplanted 302/auto Trans. Some fresh gas, a jump box, a jiggle of the column shifter and she came alive!!!! So far, rebuilt carb, compression check(low103highest130), new plugs, points, battery and she runs pretty good! Needs some body work but that'll be down the road. Can't decide between cv front/tbird rear swap(4 wheel pdb, power rnp, ifs, irs, etc or drop I beams, shackle flip/axle flip 4 wheel pdb conversion, lots of decisions. Let's hear the good, bad and the ugly of these conversion comparisons!!! Btw I do like the idea of it being bagged and dropped when parked. It looks way cool!!!

from northern Cali. I was born and raised in Petaluma, spent all my life in Sonoma County until 15 years ago we moved to Lake County (I don't care for all the traffic and increased population down there). Where in the bay area do you reside (don't tell me Petaluma

Im in san mateo. Been here on the sf bay area peninsula my whole life. Yeah im in the thick of it all.
