New to the site from Fort Worth, TX

Post by jackus »

Hi my name is Jack my user name is jackus. I have 1953 F100. Build pictures are at http://www.jackus.winkflash.com
I am retired and 65 years old. Looking for fellow F100 people to visit with and share stories of our rides.
I bought my 53 in 1984 from a friend while working in the west Texas oilfields. Lived in Hobbs NM at the time. Moved to Fort Worth area in 86. I want to say it's finished, but I don't think it will ever be finished. Always something else to do to it.

Welcome aboard from Gerber, Ca. May I add welcome home Brother
I have a 68 CS Ranger. I would love to have a 50's F100. Have already got a bunch of $$$$ into the 68, but a ways to go. May just sell er one day and invest in a Truck such as yours. That is one sweet looking Truck

My dad worked the offshore drilling gig for Brown n Root and Zapata, my uncle was also offshore with Penrod, my brother worked the land rigs for every driller in the Ark-La-Tex and I worked offshore, shaker and derricks, for Penrod in the early 80s then got stacked so I went a different career path.
