1967 F 100 Fender Emblem

Post by BBFox »

I believe my truck has the wrong fender emblem. It has a reflector in it, but for 67 I think it should be silver and red with no reflector. Does anyone on the forum have one or two of these they wouldn't miss? I found some on ebay for $75-100, but that seems crazy!

Being a one year only makes them like gold bullion at times. I would say someone on here has a set. Good luck.

I have a few sets as I buy them, restore them, and then sell them from time to time. They are 1 year only emblems and people pay for them and sell them for more than the other emblems since they are rarer. That is why you are seeing the prices you are seeing. The unrestored pairs normally sell online from anywhere from $40 and up. I normally try to get them for around $40 and the sell them for a bit more once I have cleaned, painted, and polished them. If you want a pair of unrestored ones, I can hook you up for $40 plus shipping which is on average what I pay for them. I don't have any restored at the moment, but can do the pair for you if you dont mind waiting a little. I will hook Fordification members up with a painted pair for $60 plus shipping... Here are a few pictures of some that I have done:

They really are not that hard to do, just time consuming. So if you want to do a pair yourself, I can hook you up with a set. I can send you photos after I get back from Vegas this weekend of what I have on the shelf. I think I only have 1 or 2 sets of F100 emblems right now though. If you can find a pair for cheaper than $40 plus shipping, go for it. Otherwise, I can take care of you...

Hey Rich,
That sounds good. I will keep an eye out on the ebay for a bit then get back to you. Those in your pictures are waaaay better then the pieces I am seeing online.
