windshield replace

Safelite quoted me $305 to replace my windshield. Glass, gasket and labor, do you think this is a good price?

i say it would be a fair price. the glass and seal will cost you more than half the price they quoted if you purchased it yourself. I bought and installed front and rear windows with new seals for about that price,but that is doing the labor myself. I would say if you don't feel comfortable doing it yourself, have someone ( auto glass co. ) to do it for you. At least if they break it,they can replace it.
