Would anybody know how long the original metal part of the radiator support bushings are? I went with poly replacements but my original bushings all that is left is the rubber part all the metal rusted away. Or if somebody has a set they want to sell. DC sells them but I'm not paying $70 for a bolt washer and spacer when all i need is the spacer.

Re: Radiator support bushings.
When I did mine I also went with aftermarket polyurethane bushings, and I also wasn't gonna pay a boatload of money for a couple washers. So instead i made my own, and when i did it i just measured the total depth of the the two halves of the bushings and just made sure that each piece covered the other, but without going out the top. I don't know if that makes perfect sense to you, but hopefully the pictures will make more sense. Good luck!
This was before i cleaned up the welds, but you get the general idea.

Re: Radiator support bushings.
Silly question but where are the radiator support bushings. I don't recall seeing anything like those supporting my radiator. Mine just bolts to the front of the truck.

Re: Radiator support bushings.
So my problem is that all my hardware, and everything is gone. I don't know how the original package looked, but I'm going to price making my own, vs buying the kit. Anyway, can you tell me the outer diameter of the large washers, and the diameter of the bolt that goes through?SDFarmKid wrote:When I did mine I also went with aftermarket polyurethane bushings, and I also wasn't gonna pay a boatload of money for a couple washers. Edit* to be more clear, when I say washers, I suppose I mean the upper and lower "flange" if you could call it that. And I'm only concerned about the front cab mounting bushing assembly. I'm just trying to see what materials to order from McMaster-Carr to get to fabricating.
