18 years waiting in SC

18 years ago my pride and joy 1969 f100 ranger and I were involved in a minor accident. Damage was not severe but for a kid in high school, a little too much for me to take on and fix the way it deserved, biggest problem was finding another grill and the bumper horns were moved over about a half an inch along with the core support. So my baby was parked with the hopes that I could find the time money and parts to bring her back in a short time, well then life got started. Fast forward 18 years, wife, two kids, house, and much improved skill set I have pulled the old girl out and it's time to get started. My plans for the truck are to give the truck the stance I want with either a vic swap if it will get to the height I am looking for or the no limit wide ride ifs. The rear will either be z the frame past the cab or C over the axle with a 4 link setup. The engine in the truck is a strong 360 that had 390 crank/rods edelbrock alum intake and 750 carb done a couple months before it was parked. A friend has a good 427 that after going through it I am looking at for another option. The trans in the truck is 3 on the tree and I am trying to decide if I want to go with an auto or 6 speed manual. Any thoughts or ideas you all have are appreciated and I look forward to documenting and sharing this build. I will post some pic as soon as I figure out how.
