Post by Piratesofwar »

We're would the most likely place be to start looking for a build sheet on a 1971 f250 ranger xlt inside the truck be at. I have the original bench seat but not the original fuel tank behind the seat the truck was originally purchased at a dealership in Colorado it looks like maybe it was a park ranger truck or something. It has dual unity spotlights one on driver side lower pillar and passenger side lower pillar. They are original and functional NOT dummy lights were is a good please to get vehicle breakdown of the build and ownership of this vehicle. The truck no longer has the 390 I bought this truck from someone who they bought it from who put a 351 modified from a 1977 f series truck it has a c6 tranny with a dana 60 rear end .

Welcome aboard from Gerber, Ca.
Look for it on the bottom of the seat.

:wel: from SoCal. Good luck with the build sheet as most of the build sheets I have seen still in the seat springs are nothing more than small pieces of a build sheet at this point. The years of pressure from people sitting on the seats with the spring movements have caused the build sheets that were left in place to deteriorate into dust leaving only small portions left in between spring coils. At least, that is what I have seen on about 4 different build sheet now.

If your build sheet is not there or unreadable and you still want to see what your truck came with, your other option is to order your Marti report as they can pull the original file on your VIN and provide you with all of the info you need. The $40 report is the one with all the best info for the price: http://www.martiauto.com/reports2.cfm
