hey guys I have started work on my 69 highboy first thing to attend to is the bed its pretty much junk other than the lower quarters I have another bed with really bent up quarters but it is of a 70-72 truck so it has the marker lights on the side I would like to do away with them
the current bed
the donor bed
so what I would like to do is swap the quarters of my current bed onto the donor bed (I can live with out the tool box) but Im not a very good autobody man yet so I do not want to weld on the outside of the bed if I can help it so what I would like to do is take the whole rear bed post out of both beds and swap them as well. how easily can this be done?
I have seen tylerb43 post about swaping the lowers but id prefer to change the bed post as well

As long as you like drilling out spot welds....which you will anyways to get your lower skins off. Here is my thread on changing the bed post... http://www.fordification.com/forum/view ... hp?t=32017
I've had enough and I'm not alone
