68Stepside's Son - Hello all
Hello all. My name is John and I am 68Stepside's son, for those that remember my Father. If you are not aware, he passed away on 11 October.
My older brother has Dad's 68 & it's running like a top. Daddy sure knew how to work on his rides.
I have a 1966 F100, 240, 3 on the tree. I've had it for four years and am trying to figure out what I want to do with it... It needs an engine and a wiring harness. Not too sure if I wanna go back stock or put some pep in my step.
Have a great Ford Day!

from Asheville, NC. I, also remember your dad. Had a few PM's with each other. I bet he is so happy that you have joined the site. Have you gone back and read up on his past post? Lot of good info there but i'm sure he has taught you plenty anyway.

from SoCal. Glad to see you have joined! Your father was a great addition to this site and we all enjoyed his posts. Also glad to hear his truck is running strong. He kept us updated on his rebuild and all the plans for the truck along with his plans to make sure his sons would enjoy it. With you coming here, he would be proud. He really seemed to love this place and was a regular fixture.

from Georgia! As Wayne's son, that makes you a legacy. I shared many conversations with your dad and was honored to call him my friend. He would be happy to know you've joined and that you and your brother are carrying on the Ford truck tradition. Look forward to seeing your '66!

I saw your signature (Have a great Ford day!) in one of your other posts and jumped here to see if you'd introduced yourself. I was hoping to find out that '68stepside's son was here. Now, lets get that truck on the road again....

Re: 68Stepside's Son - Hello all
My brother has Dad's '68. I've been driving it for about a month since my lemon give up the ghost on me. Since Dad's truck runs so well, I've GOT to get mine back on the road! So much fun to drive and an excellent conversation starter. So many people have commented or asked me about the '68. I can talk cars/trucks all day...chad67 wrote:I saw your signature (Have a great Ford day!) in one of your other posts and jumped here to see if you'd introduced yourself.
