Newbie from SC

Post by Petewrench »

Greetings From Darlington! I've always been a fan of the '67-'72. At one time I had several, but the "Brick Of Life" Forced me to Sell them. The Favorite was my last, a 1968 F-250 Ranger, 428, New-Process 4 Speed, Spicer 70 Limited-slip Rear, Motor-Home springs, 8'X8' Steel Flatbed and a 1" Rear Sway Bar. @ 12k Gross Wt. the truck sat level. while I vowed I would build another, lack of funds, and other Projects seemed to keep me from the appointed task (Other Projects: 1967 Mercury cougar; Triple Black, 1988 5.0 HO, RUG-E 4spd, and an '82 S-15 GMC with a 350).

I run a small repair shop near the Race-Track, doing everything from Brakes, and Tune-Up's to Full-on Restoration work. It feels Great to turn out stuff like this:

So, last Sunday, I'm Working on the S-15, and a Buddy calls, needing a battery, for a "Beat-Up old Ford" he just bought. Confirming I Had one for him, he agreed to stop by the shop before going home with it.
I also Own (ed) a 1980 C-30 Wrecker, that over the course of it's life, has hit everything but the Lottery, this Buddy always asked when I was going to sell it to him.

He Bought it for This: :woohoo:

1967 F-100 long Bed, 352(That runs!) 3Spd Manual(was on the Tree), and A/C. The truck is as solid as it looks, and drives halfway decent (I won't trust it too far yet!!! )
I will be starting the project thread soon.

Regards,
Pete

The only driveability issues I can find with this truck, is The front end rubber is worn, and it needs a Valve-Job. She's definately a keeper! :hd: :hd: :hd:
