1967 M100
Hey guys, I just picked up a 67 Mercury and I am gonna need some knowledge to get it back on the road. Got the truck from Saskatchewan but I brought it across the border to Alberta. It looks like you guys here really know your stuff so I decided to join!
I'll attach a picture of the new project (hopefully it works). I have a truck in the shop right now getting thrown back together but waiting on up-pipes that seem to be taking forever to get made. As soon as it is back together the Merc is getting brought in and fixed up. I don't want to go into details now because I have ADHD and will change my mind 50 times before it is done but I will keep everyone up to date on progress.
First question: anyone know if these wheels are factory or are they a common aftermarket? There is no name on them anywhere and I have seen a couple of restored Fords from this era with them on.
Thanks guys, look forward to asking lots of silly questions in the future!

Re: 1967 M100
from SoCal. And great find on the Merc!! Love them as they truly are the needle in the haystack as far as bumpsides go.
As for the wheels. It is hard to tell exactly from the angle that the picture is taken, but they definitely are not stock wheels. However, they look to be "5 slot mags" which were very popular aftermarket wheels in the late 60's and 70's. They are still highly sought after as no one reproduces them quite like they were back in the day. There are some styles that are similar, but you just cannot get that exact "hot wheels" look anymore unless you have a set of the old wheels. I had a set on my 72 and will be running the same wheels on my Crew cab when it is all done.
Again, it is hard to tell exactly from the picture you put up, but if they are the same as these on my old 72, then they are "5 slot mags"..

Re: 1967 M100
Hey guys thanks for the welcomes. I have been informed in another thread that these wheels are factory wheels from a dent-side truck.
