Howdy folks. My name is Cecil. I'm in Caldwell,Idaho originally from southern Ohio. I just picked up a 68 f100 long bed 2wd off of Craigslist for $450. It has a really strait body with no rust other than some surface rust, 4 speed, and a locked up 300. The previous owner let his teen daughters drive it without oil. I've always wanted one of these so I think it'll be a fun project. Just trying to decide what engine to build for it. Buddy of mine says I should stick with the 300 and hot rod it all up which I agree would be super cool. But I've been wanting to build a nice 351w too. Still kinda on the fence. Either way it'll be fun. Anyway, nice to meet you all. Judging by the photos I can tell there are some talented gearheads hangin out here.

I had a fabricator build me turbo exhaust pipes that hook up to the twin manifolds found on 87 up 300's. I got a 240 6 sittin in my basement I plan to turbo. I got a offy intake and will get a holley 500 2v carb for it. Anyhoo I love 6s and cant beat the gas mileage. Those 351w are pretty powerful stock with just a alum intake and holly 4v...either one will be cool.....
