Rust Bullet

Post by Shoddymill »

Has anyone used rust bullet? I am planning on removing the front clip and cleaning up the insides of my fenders, inner fenders and the part of the firewall that is in the wheel well and would like to paint. They are not rotted but have surface rust and would like to stop it from going any further if that is possible but definitely don't want to make it any worse. Thanks for your input.

Several people on here have used it and I've heard little to no negative comments. Here's a thread by one of our best members http://www.fordification.com/forum/view ... 22&t=35234 I always look for Robroy's threads on everything for our trucks (way to go Robroy!)

Thanks - nice post. I also took a look at your project post. Wow, I really wish I had the time to do that to mine. Problem is we also use the truck for Home Depot runs, etc and couldn't take it out of commission for a year or two for restoration. As it is my wife can't understand why I won't take it out of the garage when the roads are covered with sand and salt. :-)

Thanks a lot, Shoddy! It's taking a lot longer than I had anticipated. I really miss her, too. I can't believe your wife would even hint at such an awful thing. Tsk, tsk.
