Side emblems 1967 F100
Can anyone suggest where or how I could get the side hood emblems refinished or restored on my 1967 F100. I can't seem to find replacements online and mine are in good shape but really faded...particularly the red. Thank you.

Thanks for the link. However, I don't see a 1967 Hood Side Emblem. I see the 68-72 one with the reflector.

I've seen them 2 times on ebay refinished. Not nearly as common as the 68-72's

If you take your time taping them up, it really isnt that hard to paint them yourself. I did mine myself alond with a couple other sets. I used Duplicolor Acrylic Enamel spray paint and used Cherry Red which is a close match to stock. Here is a link to mine: http://www.fordification.com/forum/view ... &start=210

No problem. Just get some blue painters tape and some sharp exacto knives. Then take your time cutting along the high edges. Really easy, just time consuming. Make sure you get a can of self etching primer or the paint will rub off. Prime, paint, and remove tape. You will be amazed how well they come out. Got them done. Not too bad. Gotta clean up the tape residue but I'm happy with them. Thanks for the tips Calfdemon!

Ok, I'm trying. Says file is too big. Ugh. I've posted pics before. Don't get why this isn't working. I'll figure it out eventually.
