flat or concave?

Post by tac »

While working on some damage to the back of my cab I can't figure out if an area is supposed to be flat or concave. Currently it has some places that are flat and some that are concave. I don't know if it has been pushed in by something stuffed between the cab and bed or been pulled out when someone removed the trim clips. The area I'm referring to is on the back of the cab that holds the trim piece that a 2 tone paint scheme.

On my 68 the back of the cab below the window there are 5 vertical concave areas. I will take and post a pic for you in a few minutes.
May your sails stay full, and your knots not slip. Unless a slip knot.

Does this help any? Or are you talking about another back of the cab area?

The dark area in the bottom picture is the area I'm referring to. On custom and two tone trucks it has horizontal belt molding on it. It's straight horizontally, but is it flat in the vertical dimension. The area above it is concave. My camera phone is broke or I would send a picture. Thanks Tony.
