I'm a Newbie with a capital "N". Just bought a 1967 F100 in Iowa. My wife gave me permission, to my utter shock, and I'm pretty stoked. I've been checking out the site...it's really awesome! First thing I thought I'd check was the VIN tag but I cannot find the darn thing! Thought it would be in the door jam. Maybe it's missing. Any suggestions where it might be? Thanks!

vin supposed to be stamped onto the frame rail, passenger side if I recall, someone can confirm.

from Georgia! Here's the location of the VIN on the frame http://www.fordification.com/tech/vin_find.htm If the tag's not on the door jamb, then you're out of luck on those specs. You could always get a Marti report if you have the funds for it. http://www.martiauto.com/reports2.cfm

Thanks for the info. It has a 390 Mercury in it. Runs well, drove it back from north central Iowa where I bought it...almost 4 hours from Omaha.
