My '67 Ford F100 - lots of pics
Howdy fellas, I'm Corey. Here's my '67 Ford F100 Ranger. Got lots of pics that my wife took with her nice Canon -- should give a pretty good look at it. Also, I just posted this same thing on another Ford Truck website…
Let me start off by saying I'm in way over my head. I don't know a dizzy from a tranny (I do know that if you're with a tranny and you start feel dizzy, you've probably been roofied, so protect your wallet).
Anyway, anything you guys have to tell me will help out. What's original, what's not? Any problems you see? Anything good you see? Thanks!
I'll post the pics, then say a bit about what my plans are. Also -- I know, I've already replaced the deadly Fram with a Motorcraft.
What I do know - limited info from PO. P-PO installed the interior. Also headers, valve covers, and dual exhaust. Automatic. Some other notes after the photos.

Re: My '67 Ford F100 - lots of pics
1- Use. Daily, short range driver. No highway driving - max 45-60 mph. About 10 miles to work. I've been driving it for a month now - it's great. I intend to keep driving it - don't want to do any projects I can't handle in 3-4 days of solid work.
Also using it as a way to get into turning wrenches -- my Grandpa has restored about 50 different cars, from a Model T to a Pantera and other classic rides. I can can hardly change the oil -- but I just learned how. Put 10W-30 dino oil with a bottle of ZDDP additive in it last week. Motorcraft FL1A.
2- Major modifications.
A- Front disk brakes.
B- Power Steering.
C- Gas tank out of cab; replace with plastic one under bed at spare tire. Get rid of second tank under bed (see "F" below).
D- Rewire with new harness.
E- Find/Stop rust where needed. Not real concerned with paint or making it "pretty." Like it the way it is.
F- One pipe on the dual exhaust is dented near the under-bed gas tank. Would like to re-route exhaust to sit higher once I get rid of that tank.
3- Minor modifications.
A- Install Stereo and speakers. Would like to use original AM radio, but rework the guts to do AM/FM & Bluetooth. I know there's a company that will do this for me…
B- Passenger front parking light is out. Replace/upgrade lights as needed.
C- Driver's window regulator is crappy
D- Driver's window seal is gone
E- Glove box and ash tray don't seat well in the dash.
F- Horn doesn't work
G- Intermittent windshield wipers
4- Immediate projects
A- Oil change (done)
B- Tuneup as per Chilton's
C- Get someone who knows what they are doing to check out the engine and drivetrain with me
5- Budget. I can fling a couple hundred at this thing every month. But I would like to do this as cheaply as possible -- use Pick N Pull and other sources for parts. Where smart, I'll buy the part new (like wiring harness).
6- Tools, workspace. I've got a basic set that I'll build on -- again, cheaply; used tools. I've got a flat driveway. There is also an auto skills shop on post that has a wide range of tools, lifts, and services. McChord Auto Center Also guys that will lend expertise. I've also got the set of two blue Ford Service manuals, a Chilton's, and Steve Christ's book.
7- Possible problems - starts a little rough when cold. Idles a little "thin" I think - can die if I don't feather the gas pedal
Thoughts? I've dug through the forum and resources and found a lot of useful stuff. If you've got a particular favorite resource or post for any of the projects above, please point it out to me -- thanks.

from SoCal. You picked a good platform to learn on as there is not a whole lot to the trucks and they are pretty straight forward!
