Hood/ Cab Rubber Seal
On the truck it has what remains of once was some sort of rubber seal the lays right between the back of the hood and the cab. When it rains water will end up on my cab air cleaner dish and intake. I can't seem to find any replacements online. Where can I find one of the rubber weatherstriping seals for the back of the hood? Thanks

Your looking for the cowl lacing, I know Dennis carpenter sells it but lmc or npd might have them a little cheaper.

Did you check with LMC or Dennis Carpenter? I thought they had that seal. I never replaced it myself on any of my trucks as they are parked inside.

I found it at DC for $17.50. LMC dust have it or I just couldn't find it. I checked eBay too. Seems like DC is the way to go, and I can also buy my axle bumpers to help with shipping.

Re: Hood/ Cab Rubber Seal
have fun putting that little sucker on. I purchased one from DC and hardly any of the clips would line up with slots in cab. I guess it would not be a good fit no matter where it came from. I finally got it on but it looked to wavy looking at it. I took it back off, stripped the clips off, roughed up the back of rubber with sandpaper, clean with grease/wax remover and used 1/2" 3M double side tape. So far it has been sticking good and looks a heck of a lot better than the clips.

Mine popped right in on the 70, I believe there was a variation in the years and the clips don't align, maybe you got sent a wrong one? I remember a while back this same issue was discussed.jimmy828 wrote:have fun putting that little sucker on. I purchased one from DC and hardly any of the clips would line up with slots in cab.
