Greetings all,
Well this started out as a completely different project. I was searching Craigslist for a suitable candidate for a Burning Man art car when I found this 1970 F-250 with a dead engine. Picked it up for $200. After towing it home and taking a closer look at it, I realized I had a much nicer truck than I could cut up. Thus has begun my new NEW project; fixing up and hot rodding this F-250!
It was originally build at the Ontario, Canada plant. Sold in Washington state. Very obviously was someone's camper hauler (drill holes where camper hold downs would have gone) that was repainted at some point. It has a 360ci with a C6, factory AC and front disc brakes.
My plan is to strip it down and rebuild it into a nice looking hauler that I could show occasionally.
Oh, and if none of this sounds crazy enough; my daily driver is a 1995 F-350 that is a former ambulance.
I look forward to sharing information and learning from those of you who have gone before me.
