Thinking about getting a simple, used shell. My 67 has the standard sport mirror on driver's side.
Would a new sport mirror on the passenger door be sufficient? The big mirrors are great, but I would hate to drill more holes in the truck.

Re: Mirrors and Camper Shells
I like a mirror on both sides. To me it makes sense and looks better. I have the big west coast mirrors. Took a while to get used to them, but now I love em.
Yes a sport mirror on the pass side would be good with a shell IMO.

Re: Mirrors and Camper Shells
That is what I want, a mirror on both sides, but I prefer to add a sport mirror to the passenger side, like the original on the driver's side. That would seem to be enough if I added a simple camper shell no wider than the cab and bed.Mancar1 wrote:I like a mirror on both sides. To me it makes sense and looks better. Re: Mirrors and Camper Shells
Yes that sounds good and would work out fine
I have had several Ford trucks and the 68 I now own is the 1st with large stick way out mirrors.
Used to always have a shell on em. Smaller mirrors work fine.
