Leveling the Cab question
My cab on my truck sags on the drivers side 3/4-1". Its all solid so I'm not sure why its like that. Anyone know how I can go about leveling it up?

Sounds like you need to add more info. Was the truck ever disassembled? Was there any parts changed? I know when i disassembled my truck there were body shims in some places but not enough to compensate for 1 inch adjustment. Could be old coil spring, bad cab mount, bad cab support. Since most weight is on drivers side when cab is occupied my guess would be the coil spring , that is if everything else is solid like you mentioned.

I know the guy I bought the truck from changed the engine and added the under dash ac but Not sure about taking the cab off. I have noticed that 99% of the parts I'm having to replace are stock so I wouldn't be surprise if it was a coil spring. By solid I mean I can grab the side of the cab and sway the truck back and forth without any sounds (like anything being loose) or un-unified movement. Solid. It sags enough to where its blatantly obvious and it annoys the crap out of me. I'm going to be replacing the shock all around soon so I'll go ahead and change out the coil springs to see if that helps. Thanks for the info. Here are some pics of the cab mounts. Now I could be wrong (never have taken a cab off before) but aren't there supposed to be nuts on the rear shock mounts?

i have learn that if you change the coil spring,the new ones will be same height on both sides, as of the factory springs one spring is longer than the other side. If i'm not mistaken the DS is longer than PS to allow for weight in cab when driver is in it. I purchased new springs for mine but had to get them the same length. The new springs are in but have not driven it yet and also don't have all the weight back on truck.Maybe someone will chime in on the aftermarket springs that have been running them.

Maybe its just the pics but looks to me you might have cab mount bushing issues. In pic #3 the mounting hardware looks like it's leaning, pic #4 I don't see any rubber on top of the mount and pic#5, the hardware looks like it's leaning too. Just my opinion of course.

I wouldn't be surprised. They looked pretty rough. Anyone know some good places to pick a good set up from?

Just about everybody carries them, DC, LMC, NPD or you can go urethane for about the same price. The hard part is removing them without destroying the hardware.

I was looking at the LMC ones since they look like they come with new hardware. I hope they do anyway. Unless its just for the pics.
