Re: blasting help
I have one similar to this http://www.harborfreight.com/portable-a ... 37025.html It has been more than adequate for everything I've done. For media, I use Black Diamond 30/60 grit. Its a coal slag media that doesn't leave a silica residue like sand does. Its pretty nasty, covers you in black dust, but rinses off with a water hose leaving nothing behind. I also find it doesn't generate much heat when blasting and have never had a warpage issue.

Re: blasting help
Yeah, the bags have the grit on the end, 20/40, 30/60, etc. The 20/40 is a bit coarse. The 30/60 will take off rust, paint and grease without roughing up the surface too much. This is the 20/40 but they usually carry the 30/60 for the same price. http://www.tractorsupply.com/en/store/b ... edia-50-lb
