I bought this from Rock Auto... I thought it was supposed to be the correct piece, but it is too wide by 1" - 1 1/2". Any thoughts. Tech guys at Rock couldnt help... They even asked if I was sure what kind of truck I have... hahaha This is their part number 57441R - RH LWR Door Post REPAIR PNL; Front Right Lower

You can call Sherman directly and inquire http://www.shermanparts.com/ecat/base/d ... &year=1969 They have it tagged as '67-79. I don't know that the door pillar is the same for all bumps and dents? Probably a "universal" part, trim to fit your particular application.

Anybody out there happen to have this same view of a 73 -76 f150 or know if the door pillar is different dimensionally between a 68 and 73?? Thanks in advance!
