rear glass installation

Post by abyars111 »

Do you guys use any type of sealant between the rubber seal and body when you install a rear glass? I'm swapping my slider for a solid glass. I don't have the ranger trim.

Nope... The glass and rubber hold very tight and no sealant is necessary or (ever) used for the old rear windows. It will hold snug once you get it in there... I just use the rope method and a spray bottle with half water and half dish soap for lubrication.
