I've bought new trim that goes down the "bump" on my truck. I have a pretty good idea of how it goes on, but was wondering if anyone has any tricks/tips to make things go faster and easier?
Also, I will have to drill a few holes to attach the hardware. What's the best way to drill? Put a piece of tape down then drill a smaller pilot hole?
I'm probably over thinking this, haha but I just want to do it right once since I have new paint.
Thanks, Cole

Re: Upper trim install?
I figured it out. Wasn't that difficult at all, it would have been even easier if all the holes had been drilled.

Care to share your experience? I'll be tackling it next year, hopefully.

Re: Upper trim install?
Just pop rivit the plastic clips on first. Then, place the clips with the stud that goes in the trim itself and align them so they will go into the holes on the body. Once the studs are in and you place trim on and push down then up as it will "pop" on the plastic retainers. It really is easier than what you would think, especially if all your holes are already there. Hope that helps.

Re: Upper trim install?
Thanks! I wasn't sure about which one's to put on first. That'll be a big help.
