1970 Ranger XLT from Tennessee

Post by hotrodvol »

Hello fellow bump fans. I just bought a one owner short bed Raven black with red interior, power steering and brakes. It has the original 360 built to a 390 ci. with the auto transmission. I drove the truck home Memorial Day, Tuesday after work I pulled the gas tank, took all the chrome and lights off the bed and set it on my trailer. I'm not sure with my plans as of yet but I do have a lowering kit coming for it this week, I would like to take the bed and have it stripped and the seams welded it also has a dent behind the drivers side door that will have to repaired. I'm kind of working backwards as I want to finish the back before I start going forwards. Pictures will come as I figure out this IPad :?

Thanks everyone, a little update I just got a doner '76 model that has a brand new lowering kit. Front lowering beams the two rear shackles and flip hangers. I will be taking those off along with the disk brakes and portioning valve. It also came with two generic Flowmasters that were brand new, as were the lowering kit all of this was installed but the truck was never on the road, it was a project that never got finished. The sweet thing is I will have $450.00 in all those parts and my buddy is taking the rest of the parts. Pictures are being takin and will be posted when I figure it out.
