Ive been in the process of Restoring a bone stock 67 highboy and i have been in the process of prepping a cab for swap..
I have been trying to find out what kind of seam sealer ford would have used from the factory.. Does anyone have any idea??? And if so who sells it??

They probably havent made that stuff since the 70s and honestly I dont think your gunna be able to find it. which isnt a bad thing. That factory ford sealer dried out shrank and cracked in the sun and let water into the rain gutter chanel where the cab sheet metal meets hence the typical ford roof rust. When I dug into mine I used a product that was reffered to me by a buddy of mine who works in a body shop. its R.E.M seam sealer. its a two part epoxy and requires a specific application gun. totally worth it. self mixing nozzle you just prep the area and lay it down. you can manipulate it for cosmetic reasons but ive been very happy with the end result and should be a few times better then the factory ford stuff they used back then.
