well today i finshed putting new bearings and seals in on the front end. got the hubs back together to. now just have to assemble the brakes. speaking of which, i can't seem to get the bottom spring on that is just above the adjuster and the other bracket things, and that wire.

Brake spring pliers are almost mandatory for this....makes a hard job almost effortless.

Put the front shoe on the backing plate with the holdown pin and spring
first. Now hook the two shoes together with the spring at the bottom. Now
you can spread them apart and stick the adjuster in. Get it lined up and
put the holdown on that shoe. Put the flat piece on the anchor on top and
put the self adjuster cable on. Now put the front pullback spring on then
the rear spring.
